Ariel is moving to NYC!
On August 1st, Ariel is moving to NYC and will be available to teach classes, perform, and choreograph! She will be applying to Equity in July 2026.
Artistic Vision:
Ariel is a choreographer, teaching artist, and performer who cares deeply about story, people, and creating meaningful work. She approaches dance through an actor’s lens, grounded in emotional truth and driven by physical storytelling.
She creates environments where dancers feel both safe and challenged, empowering them to take risks, trust their instincts, and discover their individual artistic voice. Her choreography blends influences from musical theater, contemporary movement, and commercial styles, resulting in work that is emotionally grounded, visually dynamic, and deeply collaborative.
At the heart of her process is a commitment to clarity, curiosity, and connection. She guides performers not only to execute movement, but to mean it—where technique serves expression and every gesture carries intention. Her work is rooted in narrative and driven by emotional specificity, with the goal of developing not just strong performers, but confident artists who trust their own creative exploration.
As a performer, Ariel brings that same intentionality to the stage. Her presence is grounded, detailed, and musically attuned, with a strong connection to narrative and character. She is drawn to work that demands vulnerability, curiosity, and transformation, and thrives in collaborative processes that value exploration.
At her core, Ariel is committed to connection—to the story, her collaborators, and the audience—creating performances that feel intimate, human, and fully lived-in.
